1. Introduction
Welcome to PLACIX. This Privacy Policy explains how Anmore Inc. ("Anmore," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the PLACIX mobile game ("PLACIX," "the Game," "the App").
Anmore Inc. is the operating name of a company registered in British Columbia, Canada.
By installing and using PLACIX, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not install or use PLACIX. You may withdraw consent at any time through the in-app Settings screen, or by uninstalling the App.

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide to us

Player name — An optional display name shown on leaderboards, share cards, and your profile.
Custom text fields — Text you input for cosmetic features such as Custom Crown Title or Signature Clear Stamp.
Manual city override — If you choose to set a different city than the one detected automatically.
Support inquiries — Information you provide when you contact us at support@anmoreinc.com.

2.2 Information collected automatically

Anonymous account identifier — A unique ID assigned by Firebase Authentication when you first launch PLACIX. You can optionally upgrade to a named account in the future.
Gameplay data — Scores, peak combos, daily seed plays, mission completions, streak counts, level, XP, equipped cosmetics, badges earned, crown captures, and similar in-game progression.
Device information — Device model, operating system version, language, time zone, screen size.
Approximate location — We use your device's IP address to determine your approximate city (via ip-api.com) so we can place you on the correct city leaderboard. We do not collect precise GPS location. You can override the detected city manually in Settings.
Advertising identifier — Apple IDFA or Android Advertising ID, only if you consent to personalized ads via the in-app consent prompt.
Crash and diagnostic data — Stack traces and device state at the time of crash (via Firebase Crashlytics).
Analytics events — Game events such as session start/end, level reached, purchase events, share events, mission completions, and similar usage data (via Firebase Analytics).

2.3 Information from third parties

Purchase verification — We receive in-app purchase and subscription information from Apple App Store and Google Play Store to verify your purchases and manage your subscription status.

3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:

Provide the PLACIX game experience including gameplay, leaderboards, cosmetics, daily seed challenges, and sharing features.
Verify and process in-app purchases and subscriptions.
Detect and prevent cheating, fraud, and abuse.
Improve the Game by analyzing usage patterns and crash data.
Send you push notifications for events you have opted into (daily seed reminders, streak reminders, crown alerts, friend challenges, marketing — when you opt in).
Respond to support inquiries.
Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your PLACIX account exists. If you delete your account through the in-app account deletion option in Settings, your personal data is permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, tax records relating to processed purchases).
Anonymous, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely for statistical analysis.

6. Your Rights
6.1 GDPR rights (European Economic Area, UK, Switzerland)
You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Rectify inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
Erase your personal data (the "right to be forgotten") — exercise this via the in-app account deletion option in Settings, or by emailing support@anmoreinc.com.
Restrict or object to processing.
Data portability — request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
Withdraw consent at any time via Settings or by contacting us.
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

When you first launch PLACIX, we ask for your consent to data processing. If you decline, PLACIX works in offline-only mode and we do not collect data through Firebase services. You can change this preference at any time in Settings.

6.2 CCPA rights (California residents)

Right to know what personal information we collect, use, share, or sell.
Right to delete personal information.
Right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information).
Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

6.3 Canadian privacy rights (PIPEDA)
Canadian users have rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, including the right to access and correct personal information we hold about you.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@anmoreinc.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy
PLACIX is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it as quickly as possible.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@anmoreinc.com so we can take appropriate action.

8. International Data Transfers
Anmore Inc. is based in British Columbia, Canada. The personal data we collect about you — including your player profile, scores, gameplay history, equipped cosmetics, and preferences — is stored in Google Cloud Firestore in the northamerica-northeast1 (Montréal, Canada) region. Some server-side processing — specifically score validation and other operations performed via Cloud Functions — runs in the us-central1 (Iowa, United States) region. During this processing, data is read from the Canadian region, processed, and the result returned. Data is not stored persistently in the United States.

By using PLACIX from outside Canada, you consent to the transfer of your information to and processing in Canada and the United States. For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) provided by Google as the legal basis for these international data transfers, along with other appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.

9. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for all data sent between the App and our servers.
Encryption at rest for data stored in Google Cloud.
Access controls limiting who at Anmore Inc. can access your data.
Server-side score validation to detect and reject manipulated data.

However, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Advertising and Tracking
PLACIX includes optional rewarded video advertisements via Google AdMob. You may receive personalized ads only if you consent. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time:

iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → turn off Personalized Ads.
Android: Settings → Google → Ads → enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization."

If you purchase the "Remove Ads" upgrade or subscribe to City Pass, you will not see any advertisements.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through an in-app notification or other reasonable means before the changes take effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy will reflect the most recent revision.
Your continued use of PLACIX after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
