PLACIX Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PLACIX mobile game ("PLACIX," "the Game," "the App"), provided by Anmore Inc. (operating name of a British Columbia corporation; "Anmore," "we," "us," "our").
By downloading, installing, or using PLACIX, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use PLACIX.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use PLACIX. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use PLACIX only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.
PLACIX is not intended for users under 13.

3. License to Use PLACIX
Anmore Inc. grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use PLACIX for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
You may not:

Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or rent any part of PLACIX.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of PLACIX.
Use cheats, automation, bots, modified clients, or unauthorized third-party software to interact with PLACIX.
Manipulate scores, leaderboards, or other competitive features through any means other than legitimate gameplay.
Use PLACIX to violate any applicable law or regulation.

4. Your Account
PLACIX creates an anonymous account for you when you first launch the App. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account, including any custom display names, custom titles, or signature text you create.
You may delete your account at any time through the in-app account deletion option in Settings, or by contacting support@anmoreinc.com. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible.

5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
5.1 General
PLACIX offers in-app purchases and an auto-renewing subscription called City Pass. All payments are processed through Apple App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android), subject to their respective payment terms.
5.2 City Pass subscription

City Pass is offered on monthly, 6-month, and annual auto-renewing terms.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each term unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
You can manage and cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings, or through the "Manage Subscription" option in PLACIX Settings.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term; you retain access to City Pass benefits until that date.

5.3 No refunds
Except as required by applicable law or as offered at our discretion, all purchases (one-time and subscription) are non-refundable. Refund requests are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play Store according to their refund policies. We do not issue direct refunds.

5.4 Pricing
Prices may change. We will provide notice of price changes affecting active subscribers as required by Apple and Google policies.

6. Virtual Items
PLACIX includes virtual items such as block skins, board themes, combo effects, crown variants, profile frames, signature stamps, and badges. Virtual items have no real-world value and cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred to other accounts. We may modify, remove, or discontinue virtual items at our discretion. We are not responsible for virtual item losses caused by account termination, technical issues, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

7. User Conduct
You agree not to:

Submit profane, abusive, harassing, threatening, hateful, or sexually explicit text in any user-customizable field, including display name, custom title, and signature text.
Impersonate another person or entity.
Engage in cheating, score manipulation, or use of unauthorized software.
Attempt to disrupt or compromise the integrity, security, or performance of PLACIX or its servers.
Use PLACIX for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms.

We reserve the right to remove user-generated content (display names, custom titles, signature text) that violates these Terms, and to suspend or terminate accounts of users who violate them.

8. Intellectual Property
PLACIX and all its content — including but not limited to the PLACIX name, logo, artwork, code, audio, gameplay mechanics, and visual design — are owned by Anmore Inc. or its licensors and are protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of any text you input (such as display names or custom titles), but you grant Anmore Inc. a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, display, and reproduce this content in connection with operating and promoting PLACIX (for example, your display name appearing on leaderboards or in share cards).

9. Share Cards and Public Leaderboards
When you share gameplay results via "Beat My Run" or other share features, the share content (including your display name, score, peak combo, city, and equipped cosmetics) may be visible to anyone who receives the share. By using share features, you consent to this disclosure.
Leaderboard standings (display name, city, score, peak combo, rank, badges) are visible to other players within PLACIX.

10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to PLACIX at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use PLACIX ends and you must stop using and uninstall the App.
You may stop using PLACIX at any time by uninstalling the App or deleting your account.

11. Disclaimers
PLACIX IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE FROM BUGS OR HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT LEADERBOARDS, DAILY SEEDS, OR ANY OTHER FEATURE WILL BE AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES OR FUNCTION AS EXPECTED.

12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANMORE INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF PLACIX.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO PLACIX SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO ANMORE INC. FOR PLACIX IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED CANADIAN DOLLARS (CAD $100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Anmore Inc., its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or damage (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of PLACIX or your violation of these Terms.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or PLACIX shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of British Columbia, Canada, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.

15. Apple-Specific Terms (iOS Users)
These Terms are between you and Anmore Inc., not with Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for PLACIX or its content.
You acknowledge that:

Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for PLACIX.
In the event of any failure of PLACIX to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for PLACIX; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to PLACIX.
Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

16. Google-Specific Terms (Android Users)
These Terms are between you and Anmore Inc., not with Google LLC. Google is not responsible for PLACIX or its content.

17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the App or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of PLACIX after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance.

18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Anmore Inc. regarding PLACIX.
